Art Appreciation 1

I love art and always have. I appreciate creativity of all mediums, from crayons to oil paints to plaster, clay and even found object art. I wouldn't be portraying my true self on my blog if I didn't feature art. Perhaps this will be a little series.

I can't not start out with Brandi Milne, my favorite artist. I have a piece by her tattooed on my chest and plans for another one on the other side of my chest, among with other snippets of her paintings probably in other places. Her work seems to take a hold of my eyes and my heart at the same time and suck them into the painting and they make me feel comfortable and creeped out at the same time. It's glorious. This might be the only artist that I leave a detailed caption for.

Another artist I can't help but to leave a caption for is Aaron Kraten, his mixed media art featuring abstract outlines of stylish girls are so always so great, and he's pumping out paintings, and drawings left and right, he seems to never stop, ever.
