Christmas Crafts ~ Round Up!

Pretty Pine Cones, I've painted a pine cone or two in my day and I think this would be such an easy and pretty and not to mention inexpensive DIY! Gather pine cones around your neighborhood (I've seen a few!) or buy some at your craft store and paint any color, add glitter, little poms, the possibilities are endless!

2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, cold water. Mix until has consistency of play dough. bake at 250 for 2 hours, then cool and spray with metallic paint.

It's that time of year! Every year I try to do at least one creative Christmas thing. Thanks to Pinterest and creative bloggers, I probably have more inspiration than ever. My sister in law is planning a little craft with the kiddos party and I can't help but to be excited to partake in the kid's crafts. So I've been finding great ideas and inspiration.

So pretty, it's a Finnish blog, but Google Chrome translated. Made from powdered sugar and eggs, pipe your design and allow to dry for a few days, looks like something neat to try!

So many great things to make, and most of them can be done using materials from thrift and dollar stores and things around the house! Do you do any Christmas crafts? Are there any you are dying to try?

  1. Have I been blind or did you get a new blog design? If yes then it's SO pretty! It's so clean and creative. And I like the pine cone idea the most...especially if pom poms are involved ;)

    1. Haha! I did, thank you for noticing! I've been wanting to spruce it up for some time now and found a great deal on a premade template from Etsy, I wish I could come up with things like this on my own but I digress...

Yes! I love the pine cones too, I have actually decorated some in spring colors with tiny pom poms before and it was so cute! I think I'll make some Christmas ones :)
